Lee, MA (February 2017). All year long, customers from all over the country send Klara’s Gourmet cookies to loved ones, but this Valentine’s Day Klara’s Gourmet is on the receiving end of that love. ABC’s American Housewife featured the small town brand in a big way by including Klara’s Gourmet Lemon Poppy Shortbread cookies as a regular set prop in the café.
Most recently, in the second scene of season one, episode 13, Taylor Otto played by Meg Donnelly is splitting a muffin with friends and right behind the foursome is the Lemon Poppy Shortbread cookies in the unique Klara’s Gourmet packaging.
“When we heard that the show chose to use our cookies on set, we were quite giddy with excitement. For me, this is the American dream, our cookies are celebrities now!” says Klara Sotonova, owner of Klara’s Gourmet.
Klara’s Gourmet cookies are made in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts with original rich Czech recipes that have been passed down in Klara’s family for generations. The cookies can be purchased nationwide online and at HomeGoods, TJMaxx and Marshall’s in the gourmet foods departments.
