Specialty Food Association Executive Named Show Manager of the Year
Bill Lynch Honored for Fancy Food Show Work

NEW YORK (Oct. 27, 2015) – Bill Lynch, Chief Operations and Production Officer of the Specialty Food Association, has been named Show Manager of the Year for 2015 by The Expo Group, a general contractor for the trade show and events industry.

The award recognizes trade show organizers who are creating “amazing experiences with their exhibition and in their marketplace community,” according to The Expo Group.

The Specialty Food Association owns and produces the Winter and Summer Fancy Food Shows, the largest marketplaces devoted exclusively to specialty food in North America.

Lynch joined the Association in 1999 and has been involved in all aspects of the industry-leading trade shows in positions of increasing responsibility. A graduate of the University of Delaware in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management, he has helped evolve and grow the Fancy Food Shows in a constantly changing marketplace.

“Bill exemplifies the creativity, attention to detail and leadership that make the Fancy Food Shows the premier events in our industry,” says Specialty Food Association President Ann Daw. “We congratulate Bill on this important recognition.”

Lynch will receive the award next month as part of the TSNN Awards (Trade Show News Network) in Atlanta. He is being honored for show managers whose events have more than 1,500 booths.  As part of the award, Lynch is receiving a donation to the charity of his choice and has selected the Specialty Food Foundation.  The foundation supports anti-hunger and sustainability initiatives.
