BRADENTON, FL, March 19, 2020 – Genius Central Systems, Inc. announces the retirement of Linda Sheehan, CEO and Founder. Sheehan retired in February of 2020 after more than 35 years in the natural product industry. Genius Central recognizes Linda Sheehan for her immense contribution and wishes her a happy and well-deserved retirement.

During Sheehan’s time as CEO, she led the efforts to upgrade the company’s industry standard products, such as Scan Genius (now BUYiQ) as well as the launch of new solutions to meet the needs of its customers. With these improvements, Genius Central is positioned to expand its services to retailers, manufacturers, distributors and brokers over the next several years. The company will leverage the development a new centralized platform which will facilitate the ordering relationships between buyers, sellers and brokers while reducing cost from the supply chain. Streamlining data and order management, promotional management and EDI are key business objectives for the company going into the next phase.
Genius Central’s Board of Directors has named Kirsten Hogan, of Sana Sano Growth & Innovation Partners, as the interim CEO. Kirsten has been in the industry for over 18 years and has demonstrated success in distribution, consumer products, retail, pricing and promotional strategy, category management, sales and merchandising, eCommerce, and supplier development. She will work closely with the Board over the next several months in the search for a permanent CEO who will shepherd Genius Central into the next decade of growth, furthering the company’s mission to provide effective, high-quality, and affordable supply chain technology and services to buyers and sellers.
